Cultural Centers In the Islamic World

In the context of civilization, Islam presents a new civilization whose essence is different from the previous civilization. The civilization that the prophets left behind, for example, was clearly very different from the Arab civilization in the Jahiliah era. Thus, Islam gave birth to a cultural and civilizational revolution. Nevertheless, the influence of Jokal is a natural process that is inevitable. However, this influence has enriched Islamic civilization itself Islamic civilization developed very advanced in the order of world civilization, even long before the rise of the European nations, the Islamic people had advanced with its brilliant civilization. Even the European nations would not be able to advance if they did not learn from Islamic civilization.




Makkah Al-Mukarramah



Makkah Al-Mukarramah is the city of birth of Islam, in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born and obtained the revelation of the Qur’an in the City of Mecca. Mecca is also a city of Islamic culture. Where the city of Mecca is a city to demand knowledge, either in the time of Muhammad Shollu ala Muhammad Shullu alaihi wasallam, khulafaur rasyidin or the beginning of Mecka like Umayyah and Abbasiyah, even until now.

Makkah was originally the center of Jahiliyyah civilization that was filled with Paganism. But, along with the development of the Islamic religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad Shollu ala shollu Alaihi wasallam, the city of Makkah became the holy city of Islam. In this city there is also the Ka'bah in the Masjidil Haram which is the qiblat of Islam in the Prayer. Makkah also became the Center for the Study of Religious Sciences, in particular the Centre for the Studies of Hadith and Fiqh.

From Medina after the position and power of the Prophet Muhammad and his followers became great, he recaptured the city of Mecca by conquering the city peacefully, in the year 8 H (630 AD) so that it was known as Fathu Makkah, which is the opening of the City of Makkah.
